K7 750 fork springs
« on: August 24, 2018, 06:07:43 AM »
I decided to do full check and refurb of my fork.
As preparation, I checked springs (they are stock, bike has 9000 miles).
Measured free length is 497mm, whereas service limit is 495 and new spring free length is 504.3mm according to shop manual.

I'm considering to replace them using opportunity that fork will be open anyway.

What would be your suggestion?
If to replace what shall I buy? I want to keep constant rate not progressive.

My weight is 80kg,riding alone, sometime with some bag and I like sportier rides, especially on curvy roads

I'm considering doing the same with my K5 forks, and I'm looking at race tech springs.
