I need exhaust valve cb350f, where to buy?
« on: March 31, 2019, 11:27:12 PM »
Hi,

I've been looking for exhaust valve for my cb350f. partzilla, david silver and 4into1 don't have it in stock.
Any idea where I can buy it?

Thank you in advance.

CMS, and eBay too. Shop by part number. Also a new cotter set for that valve wouldn’t hurt. They’re a cheap reassurance.

Does it have to be new?  Or will used do the trick?

If they have not been ground in multiple times and if the valve face is undamaged. Just look for any pitting on the valve face.

It doesnt have to be new, but I prefer new if price is reasonable. The old one is stuck with the valve guide. I tried to remove it by hitting it with hammer, I ended up cracking the valve guide, and it still stuck. Planning to cut the valve so I can free it by hitting from the cylinder side.

CMSNL.COM but their prices are amongst the highest. The company has been buying out parts stocks from Honda (and the other brands) distributors and closed or de-stocking dealers for a LONG time and has a lot of otherwise unobtainable parts. They seem to know this, their prices reflect it.
Mc-Again in japan used to sell new valves at a decent price but they don't seem to have any outside distributor any more, dealing with them is a challenge unless you're Japanese is very good. And they apparently do not ship outside of Japan.
