Crankcase Bolts
« on: June 04, 2019, 03:01:35 AM »
I'm putting together an order for ARP 12pt bolts. The only lengths that ARP don't seem to do is the M6x32 flange bolts, which is understandable. I assume Honda would have used an M6x30 if that was suitable?

If so, are there any tricks to cutting down M6x40 bolts?

Thanks

thread a nut on the bolt first, cut the bolt, then unthread the nut to clean up the end.
or, use a universal thread restoration tool.

Thanks all - Allens was my choice of supplier. Even with postage they work out significantly cheaper than buying them here. Will get the 6x35s!
