Delkevic 4 into on a 78 cb750K
« on: August 13, 2019, 07:56:02 PM »
Anyone using the Delklevic SS 4 into 1 on cb750.   In may case a 78 but general info is also good.   Anyone know what the diameter for the header is?  Or how the stock muffler flows?

Yep lots of people really like them, myself included.

Off the top of my head it is a 2.5" OD from the collector.

Yep, I have one on my '76 F1. Sounds great. I will say that if a super shiny exhaust is something you want then I wouldn't opt for the Delkevic. They do a nice job of polishing the SS, but my experience is that the head pipes take on a bit of a golden sheen.

Mine uses the straight muffler not the "megaphone" style. Good system.

The Delkevic is great on my '77K. Easy to install and sounds great. My bike needed no rejetting. The entire system weighs less than one of the stock pipes. The dyno in my butt tells me there is a bit more oomph.
