oh, and by the way--as Fugly as the fairing in question is, there's something amazing about its absurdity.

Is it ugly or beautiful?  I'm thinking of getting it.

Very sad we do not have the full shot of the unit with the trunk and the fairing on.

However I do think it is missing the roof! :D :D :D

TRIVIA QUESTION:
What kind of motorcycle was the BATCYCLE? I think it was a CB160?
I think the orig Batmobile would be the coolest car of all-time to show-up anywhere. Maybe the Batcycle doable but what was it made from? Even the fairing unusual.

Sort of looks like the fairing a French company made for endurance racing cb's.
Someone posted a link to a european site with a bunch of different style racing bikes that included rickmans, seeleys, dunstall and dresda CB's, these french bikes were among them and they were without a dout Fugly! but for some reason I was drawn to them, like a moth to a flame. :D
I was just about to ask what kind of bike the bat bike was!

Buy it!  You need that on your bike.  Chics will love you.  That's like Axe cologne for bikes.  You'll have to get numerous performance upgrades just to keep from getting overrun by girls lusting after you.

Combo it up with some leather chaps and you have a good Mad Max advisory! I kind of dig the funky fairing  ;)

If you ever want to know what Robin is in that Gay position on the side car, it is because the batcycle sidecar has a go-kart on it that could be released and robin could ride off. I think in one episode they actually did that.

Maybe the fairing was used in some 70's MadMax type movie--then it might be a worthwhile purchase?

Man, all this talk about batman and his cycle jolted a lost memory and the reason why I dig cafes.
in 1980 I had a spiderman toy that was my absolute favorite toy of all time.  It was spidy and the spider bike!
It was ultra cool with what looks like a dunstall body.  I evevntually lost spidy but G.I. Joes fit on it pretty good.
