Had a problem when the bike heated up from stop and go in 90 degrees. I had replaced the fibers not long before with "clutch plates" I got from a parts dealer. Could not shift gears and the clutch would not dissengage. Ended up screwing up the clutch counter gears by craming it into gear. Took it apart and drilled holes in the hub as Mark suggested. Also, using 20w-50 as he suggested. Also replaced countershaft o ring as suggested. So I got in a stop and go line to get into the Indy Mile and the same thing happened. If the plates are warped, how would the adjustment change or do they just warp when they are hot. Honda fibers are $24. I was thinking of getting ebc fibers and then checking steels to see if they are flat. Any suggestions as to a path forward. Getting ready to head south-Dragon, Cherohola and BRP. Would love to fix this first.
Thanks,
