This thread is the ultimate tease.  As a huge, long time drag bike fan, I'd love to see, as Paul Harvey would say,  "...the rest of the story."

Working on three of my bikes at the same time, progress will be slow but I'll post pics as I get along.
Thanks!

One of the ladies will get this, not sure which one yet.
If someone happens to have a small Kosman brake disc in useable condition, PM me.

 Nice.

Heard good news from a friend working on the cylinders, they are based on an old casting me and my former co-worker made years and years ago. So it's gonna be (if succesful) a big block made in Finland the oldskool way, no CNC, no billet.
I'll post pics when I get some.
Also trying to decide the size, something between 1500-1640cc.

Starting point of the cylinders can be seen on the JMR-Suzuki story topic, page four  ;)

Did some work on the Me Love You Long Time frame today. Cut off old brackets etc. Gonna put a backbone fuel cell to it soon, maybe, have to check the rule book  ;D
It's nice how low this thing will be due to the shortnecked frame.

The other bike has always been eligible to be raced in Streetbike category (street ET), wheelbase limit used to be 1500mm (59") or stock, in GS '82 case 1510mm (59,45") and during my eight year pause or after my retirement the rules have been changed. Limit is now 1600mm (63"). Rules limit frame modifications very strictly, no short necking or angle changes etc.

Me Love You Long Time was once a Pro Street Bike, category that no longer exists around here, 1520mm (59,84") wheelbase limit with most of the bikes being turboed, running low 8's.
My version will be a naturally aspirated big block built to fit Super Street Bike rules(close to the US Pro Street) with 1730mm (68") wheelbase. Gonna do a couple of events just to see how she runs and try to make it run the Super Comp Bike index 8.50
SSB events, why? Just to see how far up this list I can get  ;D
https://www.drdb.eu/pbcls.asp?cls=17

I know it's hard to follow with the different category names and rules compared to US but that's life I suppose.

That being said I would be #238 out of 336 on my old Street ET bike time record.

I removed the side stand bracket and noticed the usual crack these frames have. Welded it and project continues. I'm glad my friend had an old mig/mag welder he borrowed me on "never bring it back unless I ask" bases  ;D
It's been at least three years now and he only asked for it once and that was for a weekend.
