Rice O Rama Spencer Mass, 9/12/21
« on: July 18, 2021, 10:38:56 AM »
Any of you Northeastern folks planning to go this year? I've been a few times and had fun. I haven't been in a few years, but am thinking about going in my car [gasp] as I may be hunting for Honda 305 Dream parts.

I'm on call that weekend but I'll try to be there in my work van. I've still got your number unless it's changed.

Cool! Yup my # is the same. I hate not taking the 500/4 but as I mentioned I'm actually in the market to buy parts. My dad expressed interest in going, and he mentioned taking his own car so it's not impossible....

I'm planning it. I'm back in Milford for the summer and fall. Let's hook up with Puke(Greg) sometime.

Not seeing much activity on the Facebook event page for this. As in none in the past few months? I hope it's still on! I'm still planning to go, most likely in my Saab as I mentioned I'm interested in hunting some parts.
Anybody have some insider local knowledge about this? It's over 2 hours away by car so I hate to go if it's bound to be lame!

I'm not sure if it'll be low attendance or not, but the event is still on by the looks of things. I'm still hoping to be available, I'll be the guy in the blue mask...

Well Sept 3-6 is the Spencer Fair, if that's on I'd say odds are good for next weekend.

It sure was nice to get out to a real event again and see so many members and meet some new ones too.

I didn't end up attending, but I wish I did! I was elbow deep in projects at home, two bikes and one car, and felt a little overwhelmed. I'm also a bit annoyed that nobody ever updated their Facebook event page. Their were people asking about times over the weekend and nobody responded!

That'd be a good one to take up with the organizers, how tough is it to buy a $20 smart-ish phone on a $37/mo contract, and make it someone's job to keep up their FB page?
