Scored this 77 750 K for $575. Yes it runs, just not well. I will post back progress as it comes along. Yes I know I always teased the later model riders. Now I will become one.

Looks like a great bike for the $. I`ll bet it turns into a corner real fast with that "custom" front end and there must not have been any speed bumps in the area

You can probably get some good $ for that sidecover too. Great score, I`ll be staying tuned for the build

You`ll have to ride it down to the Mods & Rockers event.

Nope I keeping the tank. Has about 3 dents to address (doing that tonight). I dont really like the tank, but it work well with overall theme. And yes I am using another H1 tail section on this one. Basically this will be like Home Wrecker but no fairing and lots of extra details.

Last night started into the carbs, while they were clean they leaked like a sin and after about 3 times in them I gave up and opted to use a set of carbs that a customer had returned. To prove a point we installed them straight out of the box he returned them in. They ran but not so great. After some time with the ultrsonic cleaner we had clean carbs. The bowls had some carmelized gas in the bottom but the cleaner made short order of this problem.

If you dont have one of these, get one. When we were done the carb bits looked like brand new.

It ran me about $60 at Harbor Freight. And was worth every penny. It is a bit small, but it works just fine. One carb body at a time.
