CB500 clutch plates to be used in CB750??
« on: June 19, 2022, 07:32:46 AM »
Going through a friend's parts bins I found a set of CB500 clutch plates tagged with writing saying they will fit the CB750 to be used like the old RC clutch plates. Anyone know of this mod?

If original K basket through K6 then plates from as far back as the 259 series will fit.........just be sure the total thickness is within a few thou of spec ;)

Personally, I like the F3 basket and clutch pack with the double steel...........it allows for better oil flow, hence improved cooling.
