I don’t see anywhere on the site that any of those parts are available.
I’d sure buy up some ignition parts if they were legit stuff.

One of my friends in Canada just bought a brand-new points plate from his Honda dealer last week. It took a special-order to get it (2 weeks prior), but he sent me closeups of it and it is genuine TEC. They even have the new TEC logos more clearly stamped onto the condensor's mounting tab. I'll see if I can transfer those pix to here...

I ordered some of the points plates at the height (depth?) of the Covid thing hitting Japan and got a DISCONTINUED notice. That was when i sent the letter the last time. Since then I've heard of several others getting genuine TEC plates again, hopeful stuff.

I'm going to try for my "usual list" of stuff via South Sound Honda to see what they might say: they have been stellar about getting anything Honda has available in the past, for me.

When I started working at Honda (sometime last century) . My parts guy informed me that old man Honda would supply any part you needed going back to the late 50s cubs. So I sold my KAWI S2 triple and got a 75 CB400f. After old man Honda died they evidently did away with that policy. I understand they allow Sang Yang Motor company in Taiwan to make replicas of the cub and other small CC Honda motors labeled under the SYM badge. Maybe the SYM corporation would be interested in making replacement parts.

A hopeful note!
I just went to South Sound honda and ordered a bunch of 750 bearings. Instead of responding with the usual "Not Available" or "Obsolete" message, it accepted every one of the orders after "Checking Availability" was found OK.

When I tried to order these bearing shells in July it said "No Longer Available".

I'll post back if this changes.

Visited the South Sound parts page and ordered brake pads, points plates, and some carb screws...all items took.  Will report back when items arrive.  Crossing my fingers.

I just got confirmation that the bearings were ordered from Japan, will take 2 weeks.
Beerme: that's both disappointing and confusing(!) about the points, given how Canadian Honda shops are getting them. I kind of expect it about the brakes, as they haven't supplied brakes since the 1990s. You can get the pads from various other vendors, just avoid the ones dubbed "environmentally safe" as they don't stop in the wet, and tend to squeak (squeal?) loudly. Someone here in the forums came out with the moniker

LOUD BRAKES SAVE LIVES

and he might be right! :)

I got all the bearings and seals, just took about 2 weeks+ to get here. All Genuine Honda parts, some superceded to the -425- series (1979+ DOHC engines, but same bearing sizes).
The points plates order received the same "Discontinued" notice, but it looks to me to be an automated message response that the Parts Orderer simply forwarded to me. I'm trying some other avenues for the points plates, will keep it posted here.

That's not far off the $87 USD I paid for them (at the beginning of the pandemic problems). I'd be happy enough with that! The Transistor Ignition lets them live essentially forever, once broken-in a seated, so it's not that expensive, IMHO.
