Topic: Wrist Pin Clips

I lost two clips for my Cruzin Image 836 pistons.  They are shaped like a "G".  I ordered some honda clips but they are "C" shaped wire and don't look the will hold the pins in.  I ordered some 15mm clips off the internet that are shaped correctly, but the stock is about twice as thick.  Any ideas other than to be more carefull taking them apart.

I thought I read where Hondaman doesn't use the Cruzin clips when he uses those pistons. Maybe he will chime in or correct me.

You're right: I don't use those. They have come out at 10,000 RPM on me before.
The Honda version ("C" shaped) is the more reliable one, IMHO.

DSS has stock clips too.
Wrist pin can push out the G-clips according to what I have read.
I did use the G-clips in my K2 using CI K7 +0.50mm pistons.

I regret that, I should have waited for Honda stock clips.
