I saw small K&N filters direct on valve covers in the 80's.
It must smell when waiting for green light.
Hose from valve cover going down to at least foot peg will make better.
The long hose routed back to passenger footpeg as my K6 had seems to be not available .
Ive seen a few Cycle X built engines where they have the filter directly on the valve covers as well. It doesn't smell anymore than a old carbureted engine from the 70's is going to smell anyways  ;)

I’ve put a bottle on for the cam cover breather. It’s probably overkill

Ooo Gamma, I see that brake arm conversion kit! How do you like it??

It’s not been on the road yet, hopefully it will be good. It’s a Suzuki GT750 brake cable

I'd be curious to hear your thoughts after a few trips!

Does look really good, but curious why?

Thinking Honda wanted a metal rod to prevent possible liability from a cable break.

I figured that was the only reason. I almost did one on mine, but opted to stay original there.

I just found it an easier way to fit a cable with the rear sets

No worries about it rubbing on the tire?
Thankful for everyone on this forum. Grateful to continue to learn so much.

The oil tank has two vents. Anyone know where they are attached. I think the large one at the top of the tank just curves straight down and vents to the atmosphere. The smaller vent line at the bottom of the tank, I'm not sure.

Lower: hose from rear of engine.
Upper: long hose out to atmosphere.
Later K6 has not the upper, lower fittings for hose are thicker on tank and engine case
