It's been a long time since I posted on the forum. The bike is runnig very well. Since the last post, I repainted it with more color and I replaced the 2 old rotors by a new one from Carpy's.

Here's some pics of the new color:

And this is the rotor I bought (very nice)

The Carrpy rotor looks like an EBC rotor.

So you keep the stock front hub and adapt it somehow to the modern USD front end?

Yes I have I keeped the spoke wheels and made some bushings and spacers to make it work. More details on this post:

I wanted to keep the spokes wheels and with 2 front rotors. I needed to mad some spacers the have the rotors place at the right place for the radial front brakes. I also needed to made some bushings to have the wheel centered.

When I putted everything together, I had a bad surprise. The calipers was rubbing on the outside wheel spokes. Not a lot but it wasn't acceptable. After looking at the problem, I decided to respoke the wheel with all the spokes on the inside of the hub. It worked!

Nice job! Love the new red.
How does it handle with the GSXR forks and the spokes to the inside only? Did you just use the standard spokes when you laced to the inside?

Thanks newday777!

Yes I used the standard CB750 spokes.

With the GSXR forks, the front end is a bit lower, it as a nice handling. Last year I installed a 4 into 1 but it was to big and when I turned right, it was grinding on the road. Almost all 750 4 into 1 are made similar with 2 exhausts going over 2 other to make a kind of cube under the bike, something like that:

So I modified it to have the 4 pipes side by side. So now everything work fine and no more grinding.

Nice work on the header. That's always been a contention of the 4into1 headers.

I would be very concerned about the lateral stability of your front wheel.

I don't have any worries about that. I rode it many times and it's very strong. Many guys use that kind of lacing on their big Harley and their bikes are a lot heavier than the CB750.

that wasn't a small feat. I imagine that you also had to hog out the stock hub to accommodate the larger diameter axle.

No modification to the hub was needed. Only bushings and the center colar.
