350f triple tree d washers
« on: November 17, 2023, 12:14:59 PM »
Hello, I just purchased a cb350f and have been reading up on its upkeep and maintenance. I saw multiple threads where people have had their triple trees crack from missing a washer. My tree thankfully is crack free but I believe I am missing that same washer. Is there anywhere to purchase them?

Possibly the same as used on other models..............Google it..................I make spares by cutting head-stud washers which are the same size.

According to the CMS fiches, the USA models of 72-74 didn't have the D washers

Ah OK thanks. That helped me be less worried.

The many cracked top trees happened because of riders over-torquing the top bolt. It should be just more than snug.
