Hey all. First post, maybe a stupid question but I am feeling rather stuck. I purchased a new harness from vintagecb750.com and it IS the correct one for my bike (1977 cb750k), but the colors almost in no way match the OEM wiring diagram. I'm at a loss and would rather not use a probe to find out what each and every single wire does. Does anyone have any information on this, maybe a diagram for this harness? Part number is 24-4005. I'm currently awaiting a response from the supplier but I figure I'd ask here. Any help at all would be appreciated.

The only answer you have is the probe
Semi Geriatric ex-Honda mechanic and MOT tester (UK version of annual inspection). Garage full of "projects" mostly 500/4 from pre 73 (no road tax in UK).

I recently bought a harness from them for my 1978 CB750F.  What I  found on the wire ends in the headlight assembly was that some of the OE wires have small wire colour indicators on them.  The wire itself may be black (example only) but have an orange and white  indicators on it.  These indicate the original wire colour.
What wires colours are not matching up?

I want to say most of them aren't matching up. the markings on the wire are one small square, 2 small squares, and a color stripe that is either red or yellow.
