Can you recommend a site to give specs/measurements for different brand and size drive chains ?

Check chains with ISO 10190 ratings “motorcycle chain” RK and Regina are for sure..

Don’t confuse ISO 606 rated chain “industrial chain” with motorcycle chain…

I called a few motorcycle parts places(nationwide parts houses)and they couldn't give me specs on the width/pin length of other drive chains except EK from a small distributor;then Dennis Kirk,no.  ::)
I see the RK chart from 'Tracksnblades1' which gives me some information..

Are you worried about an o-ring chain rubbing and just doing your due diligence beforehand?

They have a new skinny oring offering for old bikes but I’ve never used it..I’ve always ran a RK regular (wide) oring chain with no problems with a 17 or mostly a 18 tooth front sprocket..76F1 though I know the same works on a 75k with a 16 on front..

I like the specs on that RK 530uwr
At 22.7mm outside the pins that is 3mm thinner than the regular oring RK chain I have now(not running a chain guard because it rubbed)

Looks like the XLO’s are the only diamond chains that are even close to the RK’s skinny chain’s tensile strength.

If you’re going to run a standard width 530 oring might as well get the 11,200# tensile strength RK…

I like to keep my same 530 size sprockets;more choices when I look for a deal.
I was considering trying to run a 520 O-ring chain on 530 sprockets,but the sprockets are too wide.
Do you know of a place I can go to machine-down/surface grind my two sprockets to match the width of a 520 chain ?  I'd like to own a surface grinder:use to operate one.

If you know someone with a lathe, modern tool bits or inserts will trim them down to size in a hurry..
I would take the same off of both sides of the front and rear sprockets where the teeth are to maintain the same chain center line, while leaving the OEM sprocket thicknesses alone at the rear wheel and the front’s splined retainer area.
You may look into retempering the teeth area if you think the turning removed it..

But aren't the teeth a different space too?

Both 530 & 520 are 5/8” pitch chain. The 530 is the wider one. The 520 is the narrow one that’s  been used on dirt bikes forever.  Some 520 chains today are rated for 200hp.. They’ll last near forever on a 50hp dirt bike..

I think he’s wants to run a full oring chain on his bike. He’s looking for a narrower chain so he can but his chain guard back on. I mentioned tuning both sides so he doesn’t upset Honda’s original chain alignment or center line.. by turning both sides he’ll get a little more clearance on both sides compared to his 530.. more clearance for his chain guard on the outside and more clearance for his tire on the inside and chain guard if applicable on his bike..

Looks like Diamond was purchased by Timken in 2019 and production moved
from Indianapolis to Fulton, Illinois and Weifang, China.

One article said Timken was moving production to IL ?? An article said that the Indy plant was built on top of a cemetery used to bury Confederate POW during the Civil war.

I have the box from my own Diamond chain, this is its third season.
There is an American flag on the box and it’s marked Indianapolis.

I browsed around the Timken/Diamond website an bit and couldn’t find any sections for PowerSports chains, mainly industrial applications. I did see a section on XLO and duralube chains. This website wants you to make an account to dive into its site more deeply, and I did see J & P cycles, Tucker/Rocky as distributors.

I see. I hear that Duralube is an excellent chain w/ long life.
I like the NOS Diamond standard chain very much as the side plates are quite narrow and fit many different applications.
I've never installed a Diamond O-ring chain yet.
