It's off the lift and I've gone about as far as I will go for now.

Nice job indeed! A very good looking bike.
I remember when a biker friend bought a new white Kawasaki Z1000R 1983 with black chrome exhaust. A different look the bikes got back then.

I was very tempted to buy one. I kept my CB750 that 25 years later led me to this forum ;)

Denward17, plans for it?
I'm not sure but I will apply for Collector status which gives us cheaper lability insurance here in BC. Once that is approved I'll ride it. I have an arthritic right knee which may cause some grief with the semi rear set pegs. Since I haven't sold a bike in years, just parts if I can help some one out on a project, it will join the fleet. I'm officially out of room now. If something special comes up I may have to find more storage room. The only bike I would like to get now would be a 1968 Triumph Bonneville. I had one new in 1968 and it was gone the moment I saw the new CB750.  To me, the Bonneville is a work of art. However bikes keep finding me.   Cliff.

If you want to ride it more our 83' CB 1100F has the standard foot peg mounts and we could swap out the mounts, shifter and brake pedal. Our 900F has the rear set pegs and neither of us has bad knees so both of us are used to them. I'm only an hour south of the border.

Kelly E., you gave me an idea so I went through the parts bin and found foot peg mounts from a 750F and a pair of foot pegs too. The mounts appear to be similar to the 1100F's, certainly not as nice looking, but if worse came to worse and I had to have to have the forward pegs more forward these may work. I'd have to find a shifter too. Cliff.

Magpie, if you ever decide you don't want the 1100f rearset driver pegs, I would be glad to buy them from you.
If it works good, it looks good...
