CB400 Paint Recommendation
« on: May 09, 2025, 10:28:25 AM »
Can anyone recommend a good black paint for the side covers of my 1976 400/4? I previously used a Rustoleum plastic gloss that just doesn't compare to the original very well. Thank you.

I've had good luck with duplicolor, they have a plastic adhering primer, lots of colors to choose from and also a nice clear coat.
I also matched the 400F yellow once and then had a local vinyl sign shop make me a couple sets of the 400F decals.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.
