Free advice from the master. He charges for that information.

There's actually a longer version of that video and he goes into sponsor issues. He said Kawasaki doesn't really care about drag racing, he's just paid a little to be a brand ambassador. Without the print magazines there's less avenue for him to put their product in front of the public. There's also a clip of Richard making a pass on a stock wheelbase bike. ZX10 maybe?

I remember being at Bradenton with Keith Byers in the stands waiting for Top Fuel. Ricky ends up next to use and we started to shoot the $hit. Top Fuel goes off and I look at Ricky and ask him when is he going to be doing that. He looked at me and started cracking up and said "no f'ing way!" He told us a quick story of McBride letting him on his bike getting towed back to the pits after a run. Unless you have tried "steering" a wide tire bike you don't know a real unique experience it is. That was enough for him. 😂
Gotta say Ricky always had a really nice camper at Valdosta etc and he was an easy guy to speak with.

Jerry, we've got to get you on a bike at the dragstrip  next year. Add a few dates to your calender and let's make it happen.
