Hello from Denmark, South Carolina
« on: December 18, 2025, 06:57:30 PM »
Impulsively bought a '72 CB500 Four for entertaining myself in college and have been loving it so far! All of my mechanical experience is related to my two trucks (94 ranger and a 91 f150) and the various farm equipment I've had to work on throughout my upbringing. Excited to get to know this bike and you all further

Welcome to the fun!
I had a 500, too, in 1972/73. I just published a book on how to rebuild them, too. ;)
See SOHC4shop.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

The demons are repulsed when a man does good. Use that.
Blood is thicker than water, but motor oil is thicker yet...so, don't mess with my SOHC4, or I might have to hurt you.

So, the strategy is to lie to people you are asking for help?

I think I'll be busy going for a ride.

Good luck!
