Diesel is expensive here in TX, US $3.09 while reg gas is comparatively cheap - US $2.27

March 2nd    Reg - $2.27   Diesel - $3.09

March 26th   Reg - $3.49   Diesel - $4.99

Ran some errands today using my wife's Nissan SUV, the little 4 banger gets 33mpg, pretty happy with that. Glad I dont have a diesel...

well I might start riding to work not because of cost but supply?theres talk here of rationing etc,no jerry cans to be filled etc.

Interesting. All the farmers in my area have made sure their above ground tanks are filled to the limit. Mostly because diesel prices seem to go up every day, but also with planting season just around the corner any mention of rationing or shortages makes them crazy!

Gas is up here too.
$5.69 US for a gallon of ethanol free
Some places have it higher.
Premium E10 is even higher.
I spoke to someone from San Diego (tourist) this week and it's over $6.00 there.
And most of the fuel we are buying right now was produced before these recent troubles, pure profit.
