1977 cb750f ss gas tank/side cover question?

are the tanks and side covers the same for a 76 cb750f ss and a 77 cb750f ss?

   Except for colors and badges the tank is the same for the F bikes. Right side cover fits for '75-'78. Left side cover...'75-'76 are compatible...'77-'78 are compatible.

75/76F have a different petcock/fitting than the 77/78F.

RxmanGriff is right - watch out for the different petcock sizes on the 75/76F and the 77/78F tanks - they are not interchangeable.  (I found out the hard way!)

you have been very helpful. there is an auction on ebay for them and iwould like to have a complete set painted so i can still ride the bike. wont work for me but maybe others can use them.
