Throttle return spring, uggghhhh
« on: June 17, 2007, 06:03:34 PM »
Ok, I've got a 72 cb500.  I got it from a guy who had taken the carbs off and rebuilt them but never put them back on the bike.  My dilema is I know where the return spring attaches to on the carbs but where in the world does the other end attach to????  I looked through pictures in part manuals and tried to find pictures online but it's to hard to see in those close quarters.
thanks for the help folks!
Can't wait to get this puppy on the road!

There should be a pin between carbs 2 and 3 then hooks to the throttle  cam.

If that pin aint there you have to remove all the carbs from the bracket to get it in
