Can't get used to the new forum look?
« on: June 25, 2007, 06:26:37 PM »
(Glenn might approve of me doing this, but I liked the old way better. Hey, I'm stodgy! ;))

If you want to go back to the layout of the "old" forum, there is a way to go back. Here's how:

1. Click on the "Profile" tab along the bottom of the top banner.
2. Under the "Modify Profile" List on the left, click "Look and Layout Preferences":

3. Where it says "Current Theme", click the "Change" link:

4. Scroll down to the bottom to the "Babylon" theme. Click "use this theme". This will set your view back to the older format we were all used to:

I know change is good and all, but I was used to the old layout and it had a few features the new one doesn't have.

One thing to keep in mind - because of the way the company does this software, any new features (like the ability to include youtube videos in messages) are only guaranteed to work in the default theme.  I can hack the other themes to get features working there, but that is low priority for now.

 :P Hey Mates,

I for one am enjoying the new look and feel.

But then again I'm a web developer so go figure!

Cheers,

Thanks for pointing that out Glenn. I didn't realize it could make a difference.

Just noticed the new button for "Website" for quickly getting over to sohc/4.net. I like that.
