 ???

Do NOT buy 069A carbs for a CB750F.  069A carbs are for the smaller displacement CB550F for certain.
I expect you simply need to tune the carbs you already have.
Do a complete and thorough tune up first, vacuum balance the carbs, put in new D8EA plugs and check the deposit color to get an idea which direction you need to change the mixture.  But, with the pods and pipe change, I expect you'll have to go with raised Main Jet Needles and a larger main jet.  To get your throttle response back, turn the pilot air screws in a quarter turn at a time testing for throttle roll-on performance from low RPM between adjustments.  Or, better yet, get the stock air box and filter back on it!

Or a K1.  ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Ooops, that's what I get for reading posts while in a hurry to get to school, I kinda got your reply mixed up. My bad...
Actually, thanks to a link posted in another thread here I found a Pdf version of the parts list for this bike that someone here had made available. From that I just got confirmation that the carb code should indeed be 064A for my bike! Happy happy, joy joy!! I do plan to put the stock airbox back on. The carbs are vacuum balanced (Thanks to a garage friend that's a sertified MC mechanic and has worked at a Honda garage. He has a superb looking CBX by the way..) I do think that the carbs could do with a rebuild kit (There's a couple of gaskets missing anyway...) I also suspect that one of the carbs run a bit leaner than the other as one of the header tubes are "bluer" than the others. Thanks again TwoTired!
I did suspect that the front end could be from a K, as it didn't look quite like the F pictures I found on the internet. Oh well, it's there, and it works....

The K1 and K2 alloy sliders are the same, so are all the internals, the only difference is the chrome headlight ears on the K2, the K1's are painted and the reflectors on the K1 are smaller, like the K0. I know, because I've got both. Cheers, Terry. ;D

I suspect that the bike's had more than one unwanted meeting with the ground, as some of the engine covers are dented and scraped. On the stator cover half of the circular groove is gone! So at one time in it's life it's probably sustained enough damage that the front end has needed replacing. And it looks like it's been a "We'll use what we've got" job....

Yes, but only came on those sliders one year same as them headlight ears... but if it was not all in one piece they could be K1 legs.

Myself i used to run K2 ears on a 73 because they look muck nicer if you run without signal lights..

That's it mate, I run K8 forks on my K1 with CycleX 2 inch over tubes, K2 triple clamps, guages and headlight ears. I do like the look, ha ha! ;D

Front end is from a 1972 750.

...except the turn signals, they're too long for a K2...  ???

They almost look like they got extenders.. like the hex porion is an inch out from the ear..

I dont look at signal lights much or run them.. but they look like 74 and earlier type..

The stalks for the turn signals look a lot longer in the picture than they are in real life, due to the reflection in the headlight bracket....

New F-owner as well, figured I'd revive the thread.  Got my hands on a 75 by accident without knowing.  Cylinder 1 has issues other than that I am having fun.
