Thanks for your input guys. Dave has been riding since he was a young man so I guess he has been doing something right.

All of the guys in the vintage owners group thought that he was in his 60's when he fronted up for his first ride. He is a 'young' 84, if you know what I mean.

I will take all of your suggestions to the group this comming Wednesday night when we will be meeting for a beer or two. We like to chew the proverbial and tell lies the way men do and enjoy doing it...

I will leave you with this quote: "If you ride your bike fast enough, it will last you for the rest of your life"

Someone once said, and I paraphrase, "Our motorcycles are time machines - they take us back to when we were young."

I am 72 and have three vintage Hondas, two 750'S and a CL350. I ride with guys that are way under me age wise. Most of the time I have to slow down so they can keep up on mountain roads  :'( I'ev been riding since 1952 and had a honda repair shop in the 70's  (used parts and repairs) I've flat tracked, motocrossed and did the trials.  :D I will stop riding when they shovel dirt in my face  :'( oh did I mention I
have two really bad pinched nerves in my back a gift from my racing days and I am on oxygen :-\ . My hats off to the 80 year old, he's real "old school" :D

Nice one OLD GUY. Keep on rocking. I hope that I can get out there and carve it up when I'm in my 70's.
