Hello all,
As of today, I might see the light at end of the tunnel.
Yesterday I have met again with the chief inspector, and have persuaded him that I have done my share in trying to rectify this problem and that’s includes checking with the FBI, the local BMV and DMV ETC. and it is his turn to try to solve it.
He came with a creative solution
, to have the bike inspected in the Technion Vehicle Testing Lab for frame change, deleting the stamped VIN end engrave the VIN that is written in the Title (and the riveted plate).
So yesterday I went to the lab to inspect the bike and got a clean certificate.
Now I have to stamp the Vin number (to match the riveted plate) and pass the annual inspection - and that’s it.
Who said life is boring when dealing with authorities
?
?
I would like to thank you all for your support and efforts to track the info I needed.
I am very proud to be a member of such a community.
Cheers,
Jona.
