After 30 years, even the same brand of oil isn't the same.   Plus, the oil I use now wasn't even a glimmer in some chemist's eye back then.  But I know what you mean.

I did find a source not too far away, but looks like it costs about $10.00/qt! Is that right? Is it just me? It seems when they put the word "motorcycle" on the label my wallet twitches. ;) What I'm currently using is the same price as Honda's oil.
I saw it today...10-40W 8.99/qt. This stuff could last 2 years if you don't ride the bike much.

M1 for bikes spotted at WalMart. $8.19 qt for either weight. It's with biker junk, not in car oil section.
