After 30 years, even the same brand of oil isn't the same.   Plus, the oil I use now wasn't even a glimmer in some chemist's eye back then.  But I know what you mean.

I did find a source not too far away, but looks like it costs about $10.00/qt! Is that right? Is it just me? It seems when they put the word "motorcycle" on the label my wallet twitches. What I'm currently using is the same price as Honda's oil.

I saw it today...10-40W 8.99/qt. This stuff could last 2 years if you don't ride the bike much.
