Thank you goat.  That fender is actually the rear half of the original fender that I flat blacked and turned around.  The nice thing about it is that it already has 2 bolts sticking up that I can mount my tail light to.  At first I didnt want a fender but with my ass being so close to the rear wheel that i figured it would be a good idea.
Chalk one up for a$$ preservation!

I like the look. And think the tank looks good on there.  As my project is still up in the air, I could almost go that same route.

What thickness, gauge are the struts?
Just because you can, doesn't mean you should;)
