YEEHA and bugger
« on: February 29, 2008, 11:23:26 PM »
Well i finally had the chance to ride the old girl today, a long time since i`ve been on a big bike and i forgot how it feels..............
MY GOD what a rush, still cant get the smile off my face  :D ;D :D
Any way when i got back it was a real #$%* finding neutral, took about 6 shots to find it.
When not running neutral is easy to find, when idling just after starting its easy to find.
OOPS.. this is a F1 750, i hope its something simple
cheers all

Classic clutch release issues.  Check cable and actuation adjustment.  If the oil is not new, then renew.  State your oil type and viscosity.

After that and no cure, then you are looking at clutch plates that warp with the heat and drag when hot.

If it is not too bad, finding neutral is easier with some rear wheel motion.   Find neutral before you stop.

Hey Troppo,

get some oil lubricating in that clutch. get a zip tie and hold back the clutch lever and let it idle for a few minutes before you drive off... it will get some more oil flowing through the plates.... :)
