New Bike on the way
« on: March 03, 2008, 06:31:18 AM »
I've finally went and done it.  Placed an order for my new bike.  Its been 7 years since I've had a brand spankin new ride.  Ordered it on Saturday and should be taking deliver on April 5th.  Here are some stock photos.  I'll be having the Arrow 3-1 full exhaust installed along with seat cowl, belly pan and bar end mirrors.  CAN'T WAIT.

Hard to believe it would sit still for the photos- looks like it just wants to take off, rider or not.

Not sure. Just some pics I found on the net of the 08'.  Dealer didn't have any in stock yet so I couldn't take any.

I gotta say.  Triumph's crotch rockets are some of the most fun to ride, fastest, but goofiest-looking bikes ;D

Yeah, I rode it at the dealer demo last summer.  LOVED IT.

Just plain mean looking.  I've got the orange ordered but something in me is saying switch to black.

VERY COOL!!!!!!!!! I love that bike so much.. Last year I picked up my 06 buell lighting but I also really wanted this.. just couldnt find one in my price range.

Are you going to get rid of that license place holder and find a way not to make the lights stick out so much. Those where my only grips about the bike otherwise its almost perfect.

I'll be making some sort of fender elim kit for it as the rear wing is alittle too much for me :)

I plan on getting the ecu flashed with the correct Triumph/Arrow tune as part of the deal.  Will be going over that when I drop the cash for all the extra parts in a few days.

I've switched over to black.  As much as I really liked the orange I just couldn't get another orange bike.  The orange on my 550 is already tiring after a few years.  This is what it will look like but without windscreen when I take delivery in about 2wks.

hey chris... the black looks good but so did the orange.  i could go either way.

so, um, april 5th is my birthday and i was hoping you'd replace that weird headlight setup w/ a single cb style then drop the bike off by my house.   ;D  i prefer the black too so you won't need to revert back.   ;D
