« on: March 10, 2008, 06:56:02 PM »
What size are the carbs on my 76 CB750F Super Sport?  I want to get rid of the box and put on some cones.

I made another post and noone likes it about rim sizes so please help the new kid on the block

Any CB guys in the area of Central NJ

Thanks

Do you have a plan in place for re-jetting to compensate for the pods?

I hope you plan to at least use quality "cones" and not the cheapie emgo pods.

Personally I would stick with the stock airbox and put a k&n inside it but hey, people do much more horrible things to their bikes in the name of style.

I just hope you are not thinking you are going to get some kind of hp gain out of it.

+100 on the k&n filter vs. cones, I wanted to go the cone route and was gonna buy the good ones until I learned that four k&n cones is 130.00$  :o :o :o::).  That is when the guy at the parts counter at adavance auto said they have the stock version filter in k&n style for 40.00$ and I said SOLD! At least I will never have to buy another filter again, make sure you check for lean conditions like everyone is warning you about. I ran mine for about ten minutes on the outer highway road by my house and then checked the temp of the head with my digital thermometer and pulled the plugs also to check...... man I love my bike ;D ;D ;D ;D
