They were setting up for a photo shot of the new Norton in my parking lot.

It's the only one in NA, and it's going back to the UK to some museum. Will post a few pic's shortly.

Well, you have cemented your title of really old timer in my eyes. No one else has ever identified the kit. The bike also has a fiberglass replica gas tank with one gallon capacity. It also ran Azuza double row sprockets and final drive chain. Heavy but very effective. Now for an eye test, what kind of oil cooler does it have?

Looks like a Trident oil cooler, and 72 or earlier forks...
..Pretty wide 18 alloy rim on the back for those days WM 6 ..I am thinking..

Yup! The frame is from my 650ss so I plan to take the frame forks wheels and build the stock 650, the tank and engine will go into another featherbed that just so happens to be hanging around

then paint everything red , some sort of mag rims change the angle of the rear shocks modern forks and discs and a real manx seat. Then I will have a 1953 powered Norton Tonka Toy

It a 79 with a Holley single carb set up, Dyna ingition & coils, Jardine pipes with Sportster mufflers, Darkwing seat, Tomaselli bars, fake gas cap on the fake tank, 80 1100 forks, CB 750 headlight. Had a ball putting it together and riding it for a while. I ended up selling it a couple of months ago. I'm back building the 750 but I have enough for another Wing when I'm done with the CB.
