I remember reading about those gas gauges a while back (can't remember if it was in a build thread, or if it was its own thread) but either Seaweb or Terry in Oz had a couple lying around (I think.)

i have one more i'll post once i find it. it's a black one with a stretched tank (used 2 750K tanks), black 4-4, cafe style, taken in front of a lake i think. i think he's a member here from somewhere in europe

I think you are talking about DME's cafe...

The use of color on that burgundy bike was top notch.  The whole bike was burgundy, gold and black. Remember how the engine cases were done a primer-type gold?  Carb rack base, chain, and other various bits as well.  And I remember he had special wheels spacers done out of brass.  And the taillight was a unique touch.  Who ever made a taillight w/ a rook on it?

Only one problem with the burgundy Cafe...

...it's not mine. One of the cleanest and not overwrought.

Mark, Spikey and others, this may not do much for you (as compared to the great looking bikes already featured here), but it is an inspiration to me and so here it is. ;)

And, no there is no battery. Also, the first thing I'd do is take off that stock exhaust and replace it. :)

Hey Bill,

Maybe this isn't as radical as some of the previously posted bikes but it's sharp none the less. Belongs to a VJMC member I spoke to at a recent local meet and thought you might like.

Not completely, just yet. But, I intend to find out. Shouldn't be too hard, it came off of the honda305.com site. I DO know that there is a Battery Eliminator in place, the electric starter is gone and the engine is pretty much stock. Don't have details on the headlight, headlight mount ears, seat, rims, tires and whatever else. I'll try to get that info gathered up though. ;)

Nothing wrong with THAT one, in my book. The 160 looked like the Super Hawk, only slightly smaller. Still a pretty good runner though. A buddy in High School had one and put plenty of miles on that bike. ;)
Thanks for posting it. 8)
