I should point out that he made the entire top end of the engine himself. Cylinders, 'heads, pistons, rockers, pushrods etc. He also made the helmet he's wearing in the top pic from one piece of Aluminum.

That's dope. Nice looking helemt too. Once day ill build me a tracker hopefully after both my 550's are done but that will be years from now.

Has less than a grand into the entire build (inc. the purchase price of the bike)...

thats not a bad Idea either. mmm Will have to search for another bike to store until I get time to work on it.

It's a custom mixed color with a TON of metalflake..

That's a serious front brake on that Norda (cooler name than Horton IMHO!) Grimeca ? Very nice curve on the header too.

250mm Menani front brake, isn't it?

That 450-500T looks great in the featherbed. Maybe it won't vibrate as much as the Triumph twin.

In the UK, this bike—nicknamed The #$%*—is something of a legend. Probably because it’s been around a long time and it looks good. And maybe because it also contains bits from nearly every iconic post-war British motorcycle maker. Steve ‘Swede’ Clark built his TriBSA in 1968, using a BSA frame and a hotted-up Triumph engine. Why? “I always argued that a BSA frame was better than a Norton frame, but no-one seemed to put a Triumph engine in one of those,” said Clark. “So that inspired me to make the TriBSA: a 750cc Triumph Thunderbird engine in a BSA frame instead of a Norton one. It’s a bit like a Triton but more interesting because it’s much more unusual.” The cylinder barrel is a Mk1 Morgo 750cc unit, mated to gas-flowed T140 heads and Amal GP carburetors. A lightened crank and BSA Gold Star RRT2 gearbox get the power down with minimum interference. The rear brake is (somewhat alarmingly) a stock BSA item, but the front is taken care of by a massive, rare and strong 260mm Fontana four-leading-shoe drum. The forks are Norton Roadholders and the oil tank is an equally original Gold Star item. Does the British ‘bitsa’ get any more classic than this?

Nice Tribsa! The front brake - the Fontana, looks like the one on the 'Norda' higher up the page; same meshed vents layout.

I'm probably a minority on this one but I don't really find most of Benji's work very attractive at all. Also, they're extremely expensive.

Don't get me wrong I love his early bikes, but.....

I believe his fabrication days have gone the way of OCC, if you catch my drift.

Besides, don't some of his tanks seem derivative of the 78 CX500 design with it's great curve, knee dents and width?

I got my rear hub off my bike and thinking is there any sense in painting the center black? I've seen it on some bikes, I guess there would be no worries having to get in there and clean it. Grease and grim not being as visible...

Can anybody post pictures of bikes with this done?
