You are right, I have many magazines of the era and all the Norton ads featured a hot chick in sexy poses. The titles were double-edged too.

I think that motorbikes has always been targeted to men, and publicists know very well how to get a man's attention.

Just sent the file to my graphic designer friend & am having a 20x30 poster printed up for my shop.  I might have to take some of those cheesy posters down that I won at the fair to make room for my new poster!

 :D  I had no idea what you were talking about until I saw the full size image.

I may be wrong, but I think the gas handle is on the same side of the hold-on-bar as the make-it-stop lever. ;D

Hundreds, the Kawi Tristars., Norton with the girl in the red, BSA ads, the early VB750 sideview ads.. lots of cool ads
