1974 CB-750K4... Bought about 6 weeks ago. Rode it up the driveway into the garage, and there it'll sit till I'm done with it!

Full blown chopper build to include Hardtail and rake mods, plus all the bolt on stuff I can win off of E-Bay!!!!

i just bought a new '76 CB750 with 4k miles on it. one guy had it in his house for 25yrs. i tried posting a photo, but it is too big. I Hate when that happens!!! LOL

whats up you single overhead freaks! i just joined this thing and im trying to figure it out. i did learn how to post pics so heres my little 750 ive been wrenching on. i still have to make an oil res under my carbs. and figure out how to spoke a rear rim to a front hub. anybody know if the spokes can handle a different angle?

Well, I guess it is about time I added what I got in here. The wife decided to get her motorcycle license for my birthday and she said she wanted a bike. Funds were tight and prices were higher than what I could spend. So I got lucky and found this K5 and this is her first bike.

The first one is 30 minutes after I got it home and tore the fairing, trunk, book rack and hiway bars off. The second one is a couple weeks ago, The front end is off now for the tapered bearing and two inch shorter fork tubes.

So, am i registered?

Well, here it is. 77 cb750k with 30,000 miles. Running. Ugly as sin. And not the fun kind of sin.

1976 cb750k but apparently the po put a couple parts from other 750s on it. Comstars, cb750a swingarm, etc. Maybe it won't cause me too much trouble. Bought it in May2008 and now the work begins.

Until my current paint is healed, I'll just stick with my avatar pix.

It's the 530th K2 to be delivered in the U.S., circa Spring of 1972, when we were all still standing in line to get them. Now has over 130,000 miles on it, after an early life of abusive racing. Got new pipes last summer, next is new paint and new valve train.

Hi everyone, new here.
My first bike I was given was a 'chopperised' 72, cb750 sunrise orange. I got her pretty close to stock condition and she looks pretty good and is in winter storage right now.

Winter is boring so I went out and got a 71 cb750, K1 i think, but has some odd mods eg. 16" rear, 4-1, cut front fender, a chromed swing arm and engine mounts? aftermarket floats, aftermarket rear shocks, black head light shell etc.
Lots of work to bring her back, but I'm still enthusiastic. She had 3 owners and the last one dropped her of at my cottage for $500, a while back and I just went up to check on her. I bought her over the phone.

she has chromed headlight ears, black airbox but still the old school gauges. she was built in 03/71. She also has a 'funny' smaller tail light.
If anyone has good pix of the K1 models and the differences between them I'd love to see them as I'm confused as how she might have looked originally.

I'll post some pix which aren't great right now but the winter here in canada is long so there is time to work on her.

The mods don't sound odd, they sound typical. If yer going back to stock, then you have some work to do. If you are going towards something sporty, sounds like some of the work may have already been done for you.

still haven't figured the k system out been messing with these things now for 8 years. just got this one two years ago. Started working on it then promptly destroyed my left arm. now I'm back at it, got it for free.
