I have a friend that is an artist. i asked him to make up a picture that i could use as a decal for the bike, pic for a shirt whatever. while i know kinda what i want, he isn't familiar with the "cafe bike" theme. so to make it easier i would like to post as much info on the subject and direct him here to see. so post any pictures, brochures, websites etc. on cafe bikes, "mods vs rockers", doin the ton, etc. i'm gonna send him the wiki nentry for cafe bikes and carpy's and benjies site so he can see what the bikes look like but they dont really show the attitude and image that the old cafe's had. seems like a bit much for a pic but he's more creative than i am so the more he knows the more he'll be able to come up with.  thanks a bunch.
But thence came the Great Schism, when the two like tribes diverged, and the Bobbers did take the Road to Cruiserdom and the Cafe Racers did ride to Sportbikedom and they did pollute the lands along their paths with their abominable spawn of Choppers, Stuntaz and like manner of unholy douchebaggery

get your friend to listen to some rockabilly; the genre of cafe bikes and hot rods. maybe he can picture things better with the preachings of the Reverend.

I used that same photo to create a shirt design for a friend.  Here's how we used it:

Hope that helps...

I would much rather have a video of your avatar EdB . . . not much help in the cafe' pic department here.

Words do not explain thoughts very well . . . but a picture might help!

i haven't played on zazzle for awhile, but it only takes a few minutes.  heres some BSA Goldstar tshirts

just roll over the 2 shirts in the upper right corner for a blow-up of the pic.  cheers  8) ;D
