Hi Mavric - I'm curious if you had any luck, I've wondered about picking up some used ones myself but never see them around.

I think new ones are (or were) about $1,200 from the dealers. The money saved with collectors plates would pay for new ones in a couple years I guess. If I new Honda were going to run out sometime soon I would probably pick up a set of new ones as I'll need them sooner or later.

Same thing with seats!! I bought a new seat from the dealer a year or so ago for my 73 for about $200 if I recall. I recently tried to get one for my 75 and they're discontinued now and selling for up to $300 on eBay..

Well, they were $1200!! I need one pipe for my 75, for some reason three were replaced and I'm looking to replace the other and was quoted $400 from the Honda Centre today. That would be $1600 for the four and then any hardware like the end baffles etc. Looking at almost $2000 for the complete system...WOW.

Try servicehonda.com - last time I checked it was $200/pipe. Also DSS has them for ~same amount.

Andy-thanks, that's more like it, trouble is by the time I pay the customs, brokerage fees, and taxes to bring it into Canada it will probably double but I'll check for sure. Honda here is seeing if they can come up with a better deal for me!!
