1973 supersport.......am i missing something here? Sorry if your on this board.....but only sand casts get that kind of dough.....right?

I think this is another example of the overly inflated prices that Oregon is getting.

I think Elder is right.Wasn't a 75 an F1? I'm not sure cause I have a K model.I do Know one thing...$4500.00 is alot of coin to pay for something that isn't Sandcast (or one of Carpy's scoots)

I reckon 4500 for a 1973 "F" is a good price, it must be the "prototype" that the factory has somehow mislaid, so worth every penny. 4500.00 for one of Carpy's bikes? Cough cough, etc. ;D Cheers, Terry. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

I guess this guy is trying to get a $3000 cleaning fee. If he had to weld the frame and tank and paint it that ghastly color then the bike might have been worth $600-$800 when he got it, so make that a $3,700.00 cleaning fee. Minus the cost of the stripe kit.
Give me..a frame to build a bike on, and my imagination will build upon that frame

It does look like an F. You are correct the first 750F was the '75. I have one in the Sunrise Orange color. I think the color shown here was a poor attempt to duplicate that. There was another color available that year but I can't remember what it was.
As far as my bike is concerned, bidding starts at $4500 NO RESERVE!!  LOL
