The ride will suck, cornering is limited. It should be fine for around town, you get used to it.

The back of my frame has struts like that, about the same amont of seat, a bit skinnier tire, and I still did over 500 miles in a day on it..

Andy, a good resource for info of this type is "Tommy" at www.lowridersbysummers.com. He's been building CB750 choppers since the '70's.  RR

As of today 3/13/2012 my original owner 75 CB750F has made it through 3 wives, er EX-wives. Free at last.  ;-)
