I was wondering if anyone has tried this.  I have bought a second caliper set-up to give me double up front on my 76 750K.  I am okay with doing this.  ****Here is my question; If I were to switch my forks to the opposite sides and then rotate tubes so the mounting brackets are facing the rear, can I safely mount my calipers in that position.
I know that a big part of the reason that our early CBs have weak stopping (front) power is because the calipers sit on the front of the fork tubes trying to stop the rotor as it moves away from the caliper.  Has anyone tried this or know anything about this possible alteration?????????????????????????? ???

I've done it. works good. if you want to use the original front fender then you'll have to drill the rivets out and rotate the bracket then rivet back in.
