FORK SPRINGS

 My 1975 CB550 has been riding funny. Checked many things then I took out the fork springs and discovered they are different lengths.  Any one know where I can get replacements?

Cut the longer one down to match the short one - but check for the standard length first - you then may need some spacers to pick up the difference between stock and your newly aquired length...... :)

maybe some PVC pipe?

not much of an expert here, but if there different springrates then that could affect the feel/handling as well, regardless whether you cut them to be equal length or not...

PVC pipe works fine. 1` firms up the front end.

I picked up a pair on E-bay and just waiting for them to arrive.  Does anyone know what length the springs are supposed to be?  The ones I purchased are 19 inches, does that sound right?
