Where to get replacement spade terminals?
« on: September 15, 2008, 03:47:34 PM »
I'm doing some electrical work on my bike and found a corroded spade terminal in one of the multipin rectangular connectors used in several places the wiring harness of my 1978 CB750K. The terminals are easily removed by applying pressure with a sharp tool on the release tab of the terminal. The trouble is, the terminal is not a north american standard 0.250 inch terminal, but is a little narrower, probably metric?

There is identification on the connector housing, something that looks like a number symbol and the number 7.

Can anyone steer me to a source of replacement terminals?

This must be a common problem in restoring these machines?

Thanks.

They are commonplace in Spain. I can send you all that you want, but the shipping could get a little expensive.
