Partsnmore customer service??? Edit : free 750 brake pads anybody
« on: September 24, 2008, 05:54:26 PM »
Has anybody issues with them??
I have read a few people order parts form them with good results. So I order an oil filter and two set of brake pads for my CB500, I am trying to do a dual disk set up. Yesterday afternoon I received the shipment, while  they sent the correct oil filter and But only one of the set of pads was correct, the wrong appears to be for a early 750.

So I emailed there customer service, as per the website, yesterday about 4 central time. I have yet to receive anything back.

Has anyone experienced problems with him?? Is this delay in communication normal??
I would call them do no number on the website

Haven't ordered much from them, but never had a problem when I did.  They can be a little slow sometimes.  I go to a dealer here in town, if it's available, it's here in 3 to 5 days, and no shipping.

i got one of their wiring harnesses for my 750k and it had some dead wires on it. i emailed them and one of their higher ups CALLED me and said a new one was on the way overnight shipping. so they really seem to bend over backwards to make their customers happy. they never even asked me to return the bad harness.

After they sent me 100% wrong parts, and I spent 4 weeks trying to get ANY response out of them, I called VISA and forced a refund. They still never responded, but VISA said they had a lot of claims like mine against them.

On the plus side, it made me so mad that I went out and bought a lathe to make my own parts instead, and now I make them for the SOHC4 group, too. So, good things can still come out of bad stuff.  ::)

I actually just e-mailed them this morning...then later realized I had goofed on a measurement so I had in fact recieved the right part. They had replied before I even had a chance to e-mail them to let them know to disregard the previous e-mail.

I've probably placed 10 orders with them over the past few years.  Never had a wrong part and never had to wait more than 3 business days for my stuff.

I guess I complained too soon. I got an email form them about 30 mins ago and they are sending me another sent of pads and  I can keep the incorrect ones. So if any body want them pay shipping and they are your's. They are part number 29-3503, best I can tell they will work for 1971 to76 750's. You might want to check their website first.

My zip is 36426, they do not weight to much so I think shipping could not be more than 5 or six bucks.

Interesting timing

I am having issues with a supplier that actually advertises in our forum....

But I'll wait and see if they manage to sort this out before going into the details.

Cheers
