You can blow it with compressed air, but you will need to buy a new one eventually.

With the paper filter media these stocker filters use...

There's not much available to the pulbic I can think of that can clean it and not eat the paper to get it really clean.

Check E-bay, you can possibly get it cheap.... don't forget to call your local honda dealerships first though!!

I got a new air filter a bit ago for my '79 650 for $8.00.
The parts guy offered a discount just to get it off his inventory list.
Had been sitting ther since '83.

Who knows you might just get lucky.

K&N used to make a stock replacement and you might get lucky and find one somewhere. UNI still makes one and they go for around $25 . Both of these were made to be cleaned and reused, unlike the paper filter.

Another option is the EMGO filter. They work very well, maybe too well but they are about $12 or so online. OR you could spend about $60 and get a K&N with a recharge kit and never have to buy another filter.

Uni is its own brand and K&N is its own brand. The emgo is like the honda filter, just a lot cheaper.

It is exactly the same as the honda filter. Some sites have it, some do not, some do not list it as an emgo. The emgo has a red filter medium.

I don't think that's what you want.
How about this:

that happens to be the one following the K5 link.

Here is another:

i found the model for the 74 550 four on the bike bandit website, looks like you just need to buy the cleaner and oil with it

Is that the K&N one?  That's what I have in my car and bike.  It's a cloth element, and you clean it every so often and oil it when dry, and you never have to buy another filter - just the recharge kits, available at most auto stores.
