74 CB350f cafe racer build, newbie needing help
« on: October 13, 2008, 06:33:48 PM »
Hey, so I am new to the world of motorcycle restoration and builds and plan to be coming to the forum for a great deal of help. But hears what I got. For $200 I got a 74 cb350f with two engines for it, one looking almost brand new and neither in the bike, and 8 carbs in various degrees of rebuilding, which the previous owner had started. and 8 carb rebuild kits. So I got a few manuals and carb books and rebuilt the carbs I think. Everything I read just shows disassembling it and assembling it.  So I took them apart cleaned them all with carb cleaner and a rag and replaced all the jets. So does anyone know of any books or diagrams that tell me how to calibrate them and where all the hoses go? Also should I replace the hoses? So many questions ill just start with these for now. I will get some pictures up tomorrow. Thanks again everyone.

Wow no one's replied yet.  If you're not familar with the site check the FAQ's.  There's lots of info in there and just make sure that when you use the search function you make sure you're at the home page of the forums or you're in the subforum you want to be in.
That being said, I'll get you started w/ a manual (found in FAQ), downloadable for free: http://www.honda4fun.com/man_officina/man_officina.html
