Bill (ecosse) started the thread on the Honda Trackers. ANd we kinda went from there. It's one of my favorite types and I've been there a few times, so when Bill started his thread up, I just naturally joined in and here we are.
Bill, I hope you will join right in, you DO seem to dig up some fantastic finds of ALL kinds. 8) ;)

A great number of them over on 650motorcycles.com, and this one is no exception!  8)  After I looked at it though, I may have posted THIS one previously. Seems like I remember conversation about the wheel/tires looking too thick because of the fact that they are both the same color and it is hard to tell where the wheel stops and the tire starts. Other than that, I think that it's a pretty sharp bike myself. ;)

Thanks for sharing those, Bill.

I think some of them would look mighty fine over in the Inspiration Gallery too. ;)

I've really been digging all these cool trackers that have been posted but I have a question. What makes these bikes "Flat Trackers"? I know that it comes from a form of racing, mostly on dirt, in which riders typically lean their bikes way over and put their foot down as they round corners. Sound right? Well, what is different about these bikes? Or is it just that they happen to be used for Flat Track racing?  ???

Can't wait to see some more bikes!  ;D

'88, are you asking the difference between Flat and Dirt Track racers? Dunno, I'm new to this myself!

Bill, let's see if we can swamp the forum with 'Tracker posts, swaying the local community will to our whims by sheer numbers until it saturates the larger masses, thus creating a new trend surpassing the Cafe craze!

Bill, I kinda figured that you'd kick in on this one. ;D  We'll just see what we can do about posting some "Tracker Inspiration" :)

First though, here's a different kind of Tracker and I'm just posting it to show that there is a Different kind of Tracker Bike that is surfacing. ;) And it is called an "American Board Tracker"     http://www.american-board-trackers.com/

I did a drawing for an art project. Really nothing special as I literally cranked this out because the flighty prof. shot down another idea.

Yeah?

I had actually considered a flat track inspired build for my 550, and seeing that copper one makes me think "maybe..."!

Edit: Looking at flat track stuff on ebay. Guys, you may have given me the drive to go ahead with a flat tracker look for my build.  ;)

Bill, I checked the phot and looked like it said "ACE" and, I thought I remembered an ACE motorcycle that was built years ago and checked up on it. Sure enough they did build it in Philadelphia. Here is one link to the Ace Motorcycle, but not the one you posted.

Just beautiful.

The sound of that second bike really got me too. Very unique, excellent sound. I wish they hadn't put the music in there after they were fired up. Great bikes though.
