Thanks for the nudge Spikey.  This forum has saved me way, way more than the $10 I just donated -- let alone the camaraderie of fellow enthusiasts.

Don't use Paypal, but I'll send somebody a check or something...

To those saying you don't use Paypal or don't have a Paypal account:

You don't need a Paypal account to make a donation through Paypal.  Even if you already have a Paypal account, you don't have to use your account to make the donation.  All you need is a debit or credit card.  It's just like ordering parts on-line.  So if you don't want to sign up for a Paypal account, or don't want to use your current account because of issues you may have with Paypal, rest assured, you can still donate to the upkeep of this forum easily and with little or no hassle.

Just click on the "Paypal Donate" button on the lower left of the screen that Spikeybike linked to, and you'll see what I'm talking about.

Thanks,
Gordon

Unfortunately once you have done $2000 buying  selling combined they will not allow you to use a debit card/credit card, nothing...

Until you allow the pencil neck geeks access to your bank account.

I have to disagree.  Did you actually try to make a donation through the provided link?

You fill in your credit/debit card info and email address, just like when paying for something on-line.  It will tell you you already have a Paypal account and prompt you to sign in, and it will also give you the option to continue with your transaction without signing into your Paypal account.  I have a Paypal account, but I did not use it to make the donation.

This should be like one of those PBS drives.  What do we get for various levels of contributions?  I want a canvas tote bag!

Also, where is the "thermometer" that shows what the donations are up to?

How do you tell the difference between an oral and rectal thermometer?
